You are not alone, and it's not your fault.

Many horse owners feel confused, frustrated, or even defeated when their horse's behavior doesn't make sense.

You've tried being more patient. You've being more firm. You've followed advice from friends, social media, maybe other trainers, but nothing's worked.

Maybe you've gotten to the point where force doesn't feel right... but you're not sure what else to try.

That's where a Behavior Consultation comes in.

Whether it's reactivity, anxiety, handling issues, or a "mystery" behavior, I help you decode your horse's behavior and work with them, not against them.

Together, we'll help your horse feel safer and help you feel more confident.

Are you ready to get started?

Are you struggling with your horse's behavior and not sure what to do next?

What to Expect From Your Behavior Consultation

Behavior consultations are your starting point for real, lasting change. Designed to address the root cause of behavior challenges through a lens of empathy, modern science, and deep care for your horse's emotional and physical well-being.

Whether we meet in person or virtually, the process begins before our session even starts. You’ll fill out an in-depth intake form to give me a full picture of your horse’s life, behavior history, and the challenges you’re experiencing. This helps us make the most of our time together and ensures I’m coming in with context, compassion, and curiosity.

During the consultation (typically lasting 60 to 90 minutes) we’ll dive deep. We’ll explore what you shared in the form, talk through your concerns, and unpack what might be contributing to the behaviors you’re seeing. I’ll ask questions to better understand your horse’s daily life, stress levels, physical and emotional health, and more.

From there, we’ll create a customized action plan that feels doable for you and supportive for your horse—focused on reducing stress, increasing clarity and choice, and setting both of you up for success. This plan may include management changes, behavior modification strategies, or training exercises.

You'll Receive:
  • A set of detailed notes summarizing our conversation and next steps

  • A recording of the session (if virtual)

  • Thoughtful support grounded in evidence-based practices and equine welfare

This isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level solutions. It’s about us working together to help you and your horse have a more harmonious relationship.

In-Person (80 miles from Palos Park, IL) $120

Virtual $100
